The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting with maintaining the building and grounds of Dallas Life and providing assistance in other ministry areas as directed. Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting preferred. The position is part-time with 29 hours per week and requires a solid Christian testimony, a caring and compassionate concern for the lost and the ability to work well with others. Beginner and continuing basic education is available in areas including but not limited to: Air Conditioning Mechanical and Electrical, Electrical and Plumbing.
Back Dock Assistant
The Back Dock Assistant is a 20 hour per week job and is responsible for accepting, tracking and maintaining Back Dock donations and supplies. Duties also include occasionally working directly with volunteer groups, making sure certain donations are refused, and that donors are always greeted in a personal and friendly way. The position requires a solid Christian testimony, a caring and compassionate concern for the lost and the ability to work well with others.
The Driver is responsible for accepting, transporting and delivering donated food items as well as picking up additional items requested of them. This part time 24 hours per week position requires no CDL License. However, the candidate MUST have a valid driver's license and be at least 25 years old. The position requires a solid Christian testimony, a caring and compassionate concern for the lost and the ability to work well with others.
